ABOUT ASHTAVAKRA
Ashtavakra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences and Research is an ISO 9001:2008 certified ’A’ rated institute approved by Rehabilitation Council of India, a statutory body under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, located at the hub of institutional area of North Delhi in a barrier free environment with metro connectivity, working in the field of disability for the welfare of Person with Disabilities.
The Institute is running diploma (D.Ed Special Education) and degree level (B.Ed Special Education-Mental Retardation, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disability, Visual Impairment and Hearing Impairment) courses in special education along with practical exposure to students.
