INTRODUCTION
The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a voluntary youth initiative supported by the Delhi State AIDS
Control Society (DSACS) and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU).
It aims to engage young students in creating awareness on HIV & AIDS prevention,
promoting voluntary blood donation, and fostering a healthy, responsible lifestyle.
RRC works to empower youth as change-makers who spread knowledge, fight stigma, and
promote inclusion for all, including persons with disabilities.
OBJECTIVES
- To create awareness on HIV/AIDS, STIs, and reproductive health among youth.
- To promote safe and responsible behaviour.
- To encourage voluntary blood donation and reduce myths.
- To reduce stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS.
- To conduct community outreach activities, awareness campaigns, and peer education.
- To develop students as health ambassadors in the community.

INTRODUCTION
The red ribbon foundation is an organization founded in 1993 whose main purpose is the education about prevention of the human immunodeficiency virus or HIV, Acquired Deficiency syndrome related complex, ARC and AIDS. The Red ribbon express was launched in India on world AIDS Day, December 1,2007.
OBJECTIVES
- To reduce new HIV infection among youth by raising their risk perception through awareness of sex, sexuality and HIV and AIDS.
- To motivate youth and build their capacity as peer educators.
- To promote voluntary non-remunerated blood donation among youth.

IMPACT
