BACKGROUND

“Viksit Bharat,” meaning “Developed India” in Hindi, is a vision for transforming India into a developed nation. This concept encompasses a range of goals aimed at improving the country’s economic, social, and technological status.

PURPOSE
  1. Economic Growth: Promoting sustainable economic growth through industrialization, innovation, and infrastructure development. This includes boosting sectors like manufacturing, services, and agriculture.
  2. Infrastructure: Developing world-class infrastructure, including roads, railways, airports, and ports, to facilitate efficient transportation and logistics.
  3. Education and Skill Development: Enhancing the education system to produce a skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of a modern economy. This involves improving primary, secondary, and higher education as well as vocational training.
  4. Healthcare: Providing accessible and quality healthcare to all citizens. This includes building hospitals, improving medical facilities, and ensuring availability of essential medicines and treatments.
