Student Grievance Redressal Committee

INTRODUCTION

Students Grievance Redressal Committee is to provide opportunities for redress of certain grievances of students already enrolled in any institution, as well as those seeking admission to such institutions, and a mechanism thereto i.e. Student Grievances right from admission to conferment of degree may include issues Institution making admissions contrary to admission criterion or in contravention of merit List / qualification/ eligibility; non-issue of admission prospectus; false information in prospectus, Non-recognized Institutions, discrimination (on basis of caste, race, religion, disability etc), non-refund of Fee, original certificates on withdrawal, Ragging, unfair marking of attendance, debarring from exams, non-issue of Admit Cards, unfair marking, delayed Results, Issues related to Marksheet/ Degree, harassment etc.

To uphold fairness and justice by providing a structured mechanism for grievance resolution that is accessible, impartial, and efficient, thereby fostering a culture of accountability and mutual respect.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Timely Resolution: Ensure that all grievances are addressed within a stipulated timeframe to avoid escalation of issues.
  2. Impartial Process: Maintain neutrality and objectivity in investigating complaints to uphold fairness.
  3. Transparency: Keep stakeholders informed about the process, decisions, and outcomes of grievance resolution efforts.
  4. Conflict Prevention: Identify recurring issues or systemic gaps through grievance analysis to prevent future disputes or conflicts.
  5. Stakeholder Satisfaction: Enhance trust in the organization by demonstrating commitment to resolving concerns effectively.
  6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal frameworks, institutional policies, and ethical standards during grievance handling.

  1. To provide a safe and accessible platform for individuals to voice their concerns or complaints without fear of retaliation.
  2. To ensure fair and unbiased resolution of grievances in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  3. To promote ethical practices and strengthen institutional integrity through grievance resolution mechanisms.

COUNSELING

Institute provides counseling through psychologist which provides for exams and general stress for the well-being of girls; ICC also provides counseling, if required. Many times it is observed that the students are under tremendous pressure that stems from various aspects like expectations about excelling academically, adjusting to the change in environment, family pressure, family problems, striking a balance between academics, extra-curricular activities, relationship issues, and sometimes, psychological pressures, to address such issues, Institute offers free of cost counseling services through a permanent well qualified full-time counselor holding a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
